Fresh Paint

This image done on site in North Branch, some six miles to our south.  Judith painted in the early morning while the shadow edge was still intact along the tree line.  A hint of the seasonal change just arriving and a clear sense of the scale of the hills that surround these valleys add to the overall compositional effect.  (Oil on linen, 16″ x 30″)
