Dreams Unfolding
At a place in a city and word gets to the group I’m with that we need to leave at once, that the government’s secret service is headed in for a round up. Myself and two women run for the river and dive in. The three of us hold onto a small device which pulls us underwater quickly and takes us away from the scene at high speed.
Then at a safe house and everyone is quite relaxed. I begin turning off the lights noting that we are drawing attention to ourselves. Those in the group think I’m overreacting.
my response:
Movie like dream, relating in emotional tone to the actions of the group of Iraqi diplomats two dreams back. The underwater river travel is a bit James Bond like, but the point being that through the waters, the unconscious, things are moving to a very different place in the psyche. The group letting me know that I’m overreacting is appropriate. A safe house is just that, it is a place far from the governmental threat.
What’s so interesting is how the issue of faith from the preceding dream series along with the invitation to join in some sort of faith venture in the preceding dream, has led to such a reaction from the psyche. In fact through my activity, my recent opportunity to lecture, and some deep decisions I have made these last six months, a new creed has been formulated. A counter-reaction now underway…
