The new publishing opportunities are already outside the box. It’s about breaking the blogs out into the outposts and vice-versa, weaving the snippets of info developing anywhere on the web back into the blog space. Are we embracing these opportunities. Note this interesting post by Doc Searls that just arrived in my google reader:
Yes in deed
Phil Windley: no battle plan survives contact with the enemy & no campaign survives contact with governing
Good point. In the next two months the Obama transition team needs to separate the campaign chaff from the governance wheat, the pandering from the policy. It’ll be interesting to see how that goes.
It’s built on a tweet by Phil Windley. It’s it furthers the discussion. It spills across media. It’s feed through many channels. It takes on a life of its own. Chris Brogan made a similar point today: “Break media into bites and throw it all over the place.”
Not sure if others are sensing what I’m sensing, perhaps it’s already been coined, but it seems to me that it’s all about “cloud publishing.”
