Fever Dream

Dream:  In a restless delirium due to fever, kept seeing the Wordpress dashboard and messages being sent to developer Matt Mullenweg. Unable to add any message of my own as the situation keeps replaying itself, perhaps a dozen times.

Amplification:

The current bout of illness has really taken me to the mat (ok, lame pun) with chills, fever and a vice grip migraine headache going on 60 hours now, I’ve been pretty much out of commision.  The dream puts everything in perspective.  The ability to blog with Wordpress is an amazing gift in my life.  And though I enjoy the other social media outposts, shaping content and developing community using the blogging platform is nothing short of amazing.  So in the depths of my agony, gratitude for Wordpress.

    Sorry to hear you're so under it, Richard. If you can get some Gan Mao Ling at Whole Foods... that might help with the symptoms. Pretty good for colds/flu in-progress.

    I'm a new subscriber to the blog and really appreciate your effort. A quality job... very interesting thoughts. And as a designer, I appreciate the elegant grass roots feel. But just take it easy.... the world will wait!

    Incidentally... came "in the door" by way of Twitter, which I think is getting ever more amazing as time goes on. Hope they can deal with the explosion of newcomers!

    72 hours of bed rest, with two twenty minute journeys downstairs...Not getting better so heading into Lourdes.
