		<description>I do have a book by Robert Johnson on the I Ching that is in my que to read. Maybe I need to move it up on the list. I never thought of it that way. Thanks again for opening up my mind to the possibilities of thought!

The sense of consulting the oracle in the case of the I Ching is with the goal of understanding the alignment of archetypal potential in an unfolding situation.  Jung developed much of his synchronicity theory from his reflections on the I Ching and the acausal meaningfulness that emerges from the consultation of the sixty four hexagrams and the &quot;meaning field&quot; they generate.</description>
