Wow, what a stark difference from my environment -- and the contrast makes your video all the more striking. A lovely new take on a lovely old poem...

  • Hey Zoe, the same thought goes through my mind when I see your lush images...

  • Richard!

Thank you for sharing this...two things for me:

I love this poem by WCW! Amazing how such brevity conjured so many thoughts of discussion (ad infinitum) in writing class!

And wishing so much for snow-to be engulfed in the beauty of snow-I miss it! Of course it's easy to plead for snow while being in sunny SoCal! :~) But I really do miss the magic of it especially at first fall!

  • Hi Henie, I heard all sorts of theories about this poem in college and grad school as well. It's funny, I never really got the poem till I was able to see it as absolutely true for the voice, meaning the farmer who has a moment to reflect during the rain storm...My red wheelbarrow is essential to the work around our place as well...

  • And the Oscar goes to ...
Richard Reeves! Thank you, I enjoyed the movie very much and the variation of the poem. As I didn't know WCW nor the origninal poem you caused quite an educational odyssey here.
