Some thoughts about the blogosphere and its efficacy on shaping understanding will be on display this afternoon at SxSW. Chris Brogan has called for an impromptu gathering to discuss the dynamics of corporate blogging, particularly responding to a quote from Intel that: “There are many ways to measure battery life. We believe the best way to determine how to measure battery life is by making proposals and debating it in industry consortiums and not via blog post.”
My sense is that the response coming out of the back corner of SxSW will be aimed at changing that opinion.
