Tonight, a day after developing a relationship that never would have unfolded outside the digital world, I’m taken with the analogy of the computer screen concretely representing the spiritual veils noted in many religious traditions. It’s only when a relationship erupts outside the acceptable bounds of our collective social media “business as usual” controls, which we are all exercising (do you see this?) that the potential becomes evident and really powerful.

What are your stories of really connecting to “other” while seated on your side of the screen?  Do tell.
