Toys in the Sand Box

A really useful piece of advice passed by my twitter stream some months back, and though I’m not quite sure who said it, it remains quite useful to me as I face the challenges that life throws my way.  It went something like this:

“Obstacles are but toys in the sand box.”

It’s amazing what a shift in attitude can do.   It can change the whole world.

(p.s. one of my chief complaints about the changes at twitter is not the recommended user list and how that has skewed follower numbers, but the disabling of twitter search so that it no longer works to search what we were talking about even a few months back.  Fortuanately, I send my feed into Friendfeed and can at least piece together from my comments the gist of those conversations.  Hence, another shifted toy in the sand box.)
