"For all our confidences that we are getting ourselves “over there” time and time again I glimpse the fact that the “wind” seems to be bringing back around to where I started."

You're an amazing poet, Richard.

The spiritual sense of orientation is so interesting. I often find the geography of my dreams to be crystal clear, especially when its the terrain of my childhood.

I really look forward to seeing where you are in a year as well Allie.

I've changed direction a few times in the last year in the blogging realm. When I first began writing, anything was up and this can be called me setting my vessel towards west. Then I discovered what worked well for me and what didnt and decided to head north--not in the opposite direction, but somewhere between the opposite and my original destination. Lately I have found the need to change once again, this time just tweaking my course slightly and heading north northeast. Often, I think for awhile before I make my next move, and each decision to change if even only slightly can be alarming for me, but I find myself making the right move so far.

It will be interesting to see myself where I am a year from now.
