"Now" at Podcamp Boston 4

Jeff Pulver, amongst many things the mind behind the 140 Character Conference,  presented “What’s the state of Now?” at Podcamp Boston 4.

Some notes from his talk:

• Real time internet and the opportunities that open up for some and challenges for others reveal the need to communicate through connectivity will only grow.
• We are at the dawn of the time where the world is really flat.  Communication comes back regardless of time and space.  The democratization of real time information will effect change.
• We have opportunities because the era of the real time internet will change the way we use the internet forever.  The hyper-connected state creates an opportunity to create change.
• The more human you are the higher the likely of getting feedback on the real time web.

The statusphere is only in it’s early stages of development, as Jeff Pulver said, “we are only at the dawn.”
