Persistence is what I need...as I've said before, starting is easy, it's exciting and new and full of potential. But the real challenge - certainly for me, and I assume for others - is pushing through the lull, maintaining the practice while others don't. That's where the treasure is, I feel sure. It's like watering plants, or the need for rain. If I don't persist, it withers. Timing & seasons is everything, there's a time to push forward, a time to pull back, a time to stop and observe, finding the balance is the tricky part, for me anyway. May I just add, that the word 'persist' is of itself a powerful and encouraging word.
